Freedom 7

Freedom 7 is a Tart Saison brewed with a simple grain bill consisting of predominately Pilsner malt with a touch of Vienna and Wheat, and then fermented in one of our American Oak Foeders for approximately nine months. The French Saison spice characteristics are lightly present in the background, but the mixed-culture dominates with a mineral, pear aroma and soft acidity throughout.

The Mercury Seven were the group of seven astronauts first selected to fly spacecraft for Project Mercury. They are also referred to as the Original Seven.

In the same way that the Mercury Seven established the image of the American astronaut for decades to come, our initial wild ale bottle releases carry their namesake as the Original Seven Series Show Less
