Barrel Aged Disappearance

Our coffee and cacao nib laden stout gets its own bourbon barrel aged treatment. A carefully selected blend of our purpose built barrel aged imperial stout was sent on top of our in house processed cacao nib, and whole bean Midnight Oil Coffee from our friends at Blanchard’s Coffee Roasting Company. We find deep notes dark chocolate, bourbon soaked cold brew, toasted marshmallow, all finishing with chocolate covered cherry. In an effort to accent our measured amounts of adjuncts, we look for individual barrels of stout to specifically compliment our choices with the hope of creating an adjunct accented, but still very stout focused blend… we’re all grown-ups here, at least in age, and so is this beer.
