Age has treated this one well. Sweet premium coffee aroma Fantastic body for a porter. Rye backbone holds strong. Sweet honey whiffs then roasty coffee n malt. Light whiskey burn is still there n leads to an easy oaky finish.

Hints of chocolate and bourbon on the nose. Softish mouthfeel. Chocolate and bourbon throughout the palate. Hint of coffee and bourbon on the back and finish. Drinking very nicely right now.

boozy at first but mellows out as it warms up. I’m surprised this held up. Damn it 3C. I so wanted to hate this but it’s gotten better and better as it warms up. Wonder how 2017 will taste?
