Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our brewing and cellar crew. We name these beers in sequence - their numbering first indicates the year in the Trillium lifespan that the beer was released, followed by a recipe indicator. Learn more about our Permutation series by checking out our overview and our refresh. Our exploration into heavily-fruited Berliner Weisse-inspired sour ales carries on with Permutation 6.50. Shifting from previously-utilized berry fruit, we selected additions of tropical varieties for our latest interpretation.
Brewed with a substantial amount of mango and guava, Permutation 6.50 pours a deep apricot color with a soft haze. The aroma is heavily led by the fruit additions, with mouth-watering notes of dried mango peel and guava nectar inviting the first sip. A kiss of sweetness is balanced by a pleasant acidity and a hint of bitterness. Medium-bodied with scrubby carbonation, Permutation 6.50 offers a vivid drinking experience. Show Less
