Strawberry Sour

Lacto kettle sour featuring a healthy percentage of rice for lightness. Three separate additions of fresh local strawberries sourced from Nicnat Farms, located just down the road on the shore of the Northumberland Strait. The berries were fermented with the base beer, added for some warm aging, and again during cold conditioning. Rosy colour with a thick slightly pink head having a clear and distinct strawberry aroma on the nose. The lacto provides some definite tartness, but not so much that the strawberry flavour doesn't shine through. This beer is released in growlers and made available by the keg while quantities last.
