I've had other beers (and meads) with rose petals. But with all the chocolate and roast, the rose really does taste like strawberry. So weird and so tasty.

Held for year for a perfect V-Day beer. This works really well. Concentrated coffee and “notes of milk chocolate with a beautiful potpourri of rose character reminiscent of strawberry.”

Untappd took all my usual tags away! Mouthcoating without being oily or syrupy. Chocolate, cocoa, coffee, and vanilla. Not sure how the delicate notes of strawberry and rose come through so clearly. Beautiful rose fragrance on the nose

Since all the right tags are gone: viscous, rose, body, mouthcoating. Chocolatey, a delicate strawberry note from the rose petals, coffee undertones. Oily body that clings to the glass, but not the palate. One of the better TH stouts I've had.

Thanks Thom R. for sharing! Coffee is subtle, I don’t get any rose petals - but not sure what i should be getting out of the rose. Mouthfeel is perfect, creamy but not too thick.
