Steven Fenn: Quite acidic, but yeah I do love a Bramley cider
Jack Toye: Steven F. VERY acid-led I agree, but hopefully the Quarter Cask barrel mellowed the sharper edges 🍏
Jack Toye: How was it tasting? The ones I’ve tried recently have aged really well in the bottle

Quite a lively little number. Acid lead creamy texture. Subtle Oak Cask influence. Thanks Jack.
Jack Toye: Great to see it’s still got a lot of vigour ☺️🎉

Lolvely cider with some nice hints from the whisky barrel. Combined with the freshnes of the cider it tastes a bit like a whisky barrel aged white wine if that makes any sense. Thanks Jack!

Creating the cider on here ahead of Friday’s night’s White Stag Dinner on the Isle of Arran. Bottle reveal then, but easier to do some “Quality Control” tonight, rather than at the meal. Getting a waft of vanilla oak notes to compliment the zestyness.
It seemed only right to try one of the last remaining bottles of this on the day I went picking Bramley and Laxton Superb to go in a Lagg Distillery cask (perhaps becoming the White Stag Dinner 2024 bottle). Love the nose on this one, so alice 🍏
