Andy Smith: Very bitter. My wife asked if it had gone bad in the bottle somehow. I am not one to pour a beer down the drain, but I did after one sip
Toasty Bros.: The bitterness your tasting is likely coming from the heavy additions of roasted malts in this beer.
Toasty Bros.: I do appreciate your feedback. This is an American Style Double Stout which is going to have very high roasted malt flavors and 70+ IBUs.

Dark, inky, thick. Charcoal, dark coffee, bitter cocoa, not too sweet. Nicely aged, barrel flavors (oak, vanilla) present but restrained, allowing base stout to come thru.
