From at least 3 years ago (maybe more?). Foudre-aged saison brewed with merlot grapes, wild and saison yeast. Vinous, grape forward, light funk and mild tartness. Little hint of a buttery note, too. Not as much flavor as hoped, but still solid.
Brew #55 in “March to 10K: The Final 100”, and #990 unique from Tired Hands. Brewed w/Merlot grapes...added to Vin Santo foudre which held mature saison brewed w/malted barley & wheat, ferm’d for 9 mos w/wild yeast/bacteria & Magickal saison blend. Funky!
