Hops & Hominy Ale

Hops & Hominy is an ale celebrating Indiana's Bicentennial. We started with a grain bill comprised entirely of malt from Sugar Creek Malt in Lebanon, Indiana. We bittered with Columbus Cascade and Southern Cross hops all grown in Indiana by Indy High Bines from Indianapolis. We fermented this beer using a yeast strain that we obtained from a tree outside of the brewery which was isolated by Wild Putch Yeast in Bloomington, Indiana. Finally, to honor Indiana's corn growers we used hominy corn in the mash. Show Less
