I think I managed to kick the keg. Sorry to see it go; sorry if I didn’t share.” W/ you. Gotta get this beer drank before we move though.
Had ¼ oz. Luxardo leftover so added that in and … interesting. Candy sweet cherry top note w/ the rest of the Kölsch flavors.
Call it blasphemy? Or call it delicious.

Day after party, & you're already back. Nice work. Congrats on your fam's next chapter. Hopefully there's a chance to sneak in a last round.

Travis S. Dude — I hope so. Hit me up and help me finish off my beer.

(from earlier in the evening)
After my formal evaluation … bumping this batch up a bit, score-wise.

First pour on the Mk. III batch. I think I might have finally gotten this to be a decent interpretation of the style.
Aged 1 year. Aroma slighty… perfumy? Low note of ripe pear. Soft mouthfeel w/ biting carbonation. Hops still have mild spicy bite.
Curiously, it's the malt character that seems to have faded the most -- to my palate at least.

Also: still (STILL!) can't detect anything in the sensory profile that stands out as oxidized like the judge observed in 2016's Noonan comp.

(Maybe I'm just taste-blind to that…? Lucky me?)

Aged 6 months. Good head retention and lively carbonation. Not noticing any difference from the last one I had.
Post yard work beer. And first I've had since my Noonan results came back. I can see how it might benefit from dialing back the hops a bit…
…but I still really like how it came out.

Also: not that I WANT to drink an oxidized beer but I wish I had one so I could see what that other judge was talking about.

And after you homebrew you have a homebrew to celebrate your homebrew.
This is one of the beers getting judged at the Noonan Comp today. Won't make it to the award announcements but I've got them in my thoughts.
Aged 3 months. Tastes… the same?
