Had ¼ oz. Luxardo leftover so added that in and … interesting. Candy sweet cherry top note w/ the rest of the Kölsch flavors.

Aged 1 year. Aroma slighty… perfumy? Low note of ripe pear. Soft mouthfeel w/ biting carbonation. Hops still have mild spicy bite.
Rob F: Curiously, it's the malt character that seems to have faded the most -- to my palate at least.
Rob F: Also: still (STILL!) can't detect anything in the sensory profile that stands out as oxidized like the judge observed in 2016's Noonan comp.
Rob F: (Maybe I'm just taste-blind to that…? Lucky me?)

Aged 6 months. Good head retention and lively carbonation. Not noticing any difference from the last one I had.

Post yard work beer. And first I've had since my Noonan results came back. I can see how it might benefit from dialing back the hops a bit…

This is one of the beers getting judged at the Noonan Comp today. Won't make it to the award announcements but I've got them in my thoughts.
