Tea Muppets

Sometimes we’re all just muppets. Putting different shoes on in the morning. Chasing a departing bus only to find out that it’s the wrong one. Searching for your phone for an hour just to realize that you’ve been using it as a flashlight the whole time. Dumping Transnistrian tea into a perfectly sound English ESB. Yep, we’ve all been there. Well, maybe not for the last part, but you get the idea. So when Three Happy Brewers and Sunstone Alehouse came together for a collaboration brew, our goal was to create something fun, goofy, exciting and thoroughly enjoyable. The English ESB served as the perfect canvas for this study in brewing roistering as we’ve hopped it with a special mix of Transnistrian tea herbs that are traditionally used in crafting a local vermouth wine. Because no matter whether you’re Romanian, Belgian, Moldovan, British, Bulgarian, Russian or wherever the genetic roulette has nailed you on the map, we all want to have fun and enjoy some good beer at the end of the day.
