Maple and bourbon is well balanced, you can tell it’s barrel age but it isn’t overpowering. Really happy with this beer. And not too high in the ABV.

Terrible at 1st. No maple, overtly dry, sour, & overpriced. Then it grew on me. Bacterial inoculation from cask conditioned ales historically were often tart. The barrel held maple syrup. Aha, now it makes sense. Impressive now.
