Full of dark and roasty flavors. A tinge if sweetness sort of like syrup, but not quite as viscous as expected. A subtle boozy character, likely due to the 11% ABV, but not as strong as expected. Thinner than anticipated. Quite delicious overall.

A-roasty, chicory, smile, charred malts. T-big bodied, very roasty, bitter roasted malts, anise, smoke and char, full bodied, prominent booze warmth, chicory, bitter chocolate, I’d prefer a little less roast, but appreciate the big body. 3.75/5
