I think the barrel selects are some of the better releases, tbh. This has aged nicely. The base seemingly shines through more and the booziness has subsided significantly, yielding to the gorgeous chocolate, roast, and woodiness. Super smooth.

Four years after its bottling, this BBA stout has aged exceptionally well, and shows why 3 Sheeps is among the brightest stars in BBA brews. Super smooth and rich base, with the barrel having mellowed to reveal notes of dark fruits on a happy palate.
