India Black Ale (Winter: Seasonal Hop Series)

Don’t be fooled! This is no stout, although at first glance, you’d be forgiven for believing so. This jet-black ale has the coffee and dark chocolate notes of a porter or stout, with none of the more astringent roast character.

Chinook, Chinook, and more Chinook hops give this beer the refreshing and unmistakable aroma of resin-y pine with hints of bitter grapefruit. If the smell of hiking through a pine forest with a cup o’ Joe in hand is your thing, than this is your beer.
