Great with smoked Gouda. Not bad with smoked Gouda, smoked liverwurst and uncured bacon jam on a cracker. Hope I can try this again one day because I ran through my four pack way too quickly.

Had it with a bunch of smoked stuff like smoked ham, smoked Gouda, smoked liver wurst and smoked almonds. It was good with the food but not the amazing pairing I was hoping for. Probably just too many similar flavors going on.

Such a great beer. Plenty of smoke but not really acrid at all. Like soft smoke. More complex than most smoked helles I’ve had. Bread, smoke, hints of herbs, lemongrass, pepper, berry, bacon jam, ham, pepper ham. Might be my favorite American smoked beer.
