The Perils of Living In Pretend

If you build these visions into foundations, who is to say that they are yet to be objective truth. Living in make-believe is often all we have. So these perils are ones we seek, and such is the case with this killer amalgamation of different truths. This beer was inspired by Belgian Tripel, fermented in steel with classic Belgian yeast - and then distorted. We aged the beer in oak barrels for over 2 years (yes, that long) with mixed cultures of brettanomyces and lactobacillus. This collective of oak included second use bourbon, brandy and neutral red wine barrels, the latter portion of which was aged upon second use Balaton cherries to add some subtle fruit complexity to the finished package.
