Aged 10 years. Cocoa, roast, cinnamon, spice nose. Cocoa, dried, fruit, touch of cinnamon. Not much else. Basically flat. Did not age well.

Aged 9 years. Roast, dried fruit, bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon nose. Dark fruit, dried fruit, roast, malt, cinnamon, vanilla, light spice. Incredibly well balanced, aging amazingly well.

I had forgotten about this and kept pushing out drinking it, despite having had it twice in the past. This was - like the other two times - really drinkable. Great combination of raisin (still present), mild spice, good barrel flavor. Right on!

Getting ready for some cellar pulls and remembered the first time I had this one in summer 2015 in Bend with my friend, Chai. It was phenomenal for the next 8 hours haha, guessing 2014 bottle. Rich, smooth, raisins, bourbon, faint chili.

Too much cellar. Completely changed from fresh. No more pepper tickle, no booziness. Almost a 7up taste. It’s not soured. My experience lost abbeys don’t sit well beyond 2-3 years
