Legend of the Liquid Brain (2014)

Survived the test of time surprisingly well. I took care of this bottle over the years and it paid off. Deep notes of chocolate fudge complemented by a bit of oak and bourbon. Not too thick and sweet, well balanced. Long live the legend- the liquid brain.

Been holding this bottle for 6-7 years. It has held up extremely well too, no complaints.

This place is a 45-second walk from my place, so I had to try their 2014 barrel-aged beer. Right? That's a fair justification. Anyways, glad I was able to make the long trek to pick up a bottle. Goes nicely with the BCS championship game.

Black licorice, caramel, moderate bourbon, considerable alcohol warming. Hard to believe the age - it has aged gracefully. Excellent.

Really good and balanced for 6 years old beer. Malty with some vanilla notes.

Aged beautifully. Superb balance after 6 years, cocoa, coffee, bourbon, subtle leather maybe from age but well integrated.
