The Fitzgerald

Inspired by the great American novelist and the cocktail that shares his name, this beer started as a blend of our golden wild ale with a touch of our Lambic-inspired spontaneous beer. The spontaneous beer provides a sense of terroir and an additional layer of yeast complexity, with the golden wild ale delivering our signature funk and refreshing acidity. After blending, we refermented with blue Juniper berries and lemons. Juniper adds resinous notes of herbaceous spice and pine with underlying citrus while the lemon complements the acidity produced by our mixed culture. Show Less
