Norman Wigley: As with many beers the style has slowly changed over the years and like this one not many are brewed in Burton any more. The style nowadays is just one of many similar best bitters. Still good though in my humble opinion!!

Well that is splendid. Confess that Ind Coope Burton Ale played a big part in my early drinking days and this is a very faithful ‘tribute’ to a classic. Absolutely stands up to many new highly regarded ‘standards’.
