Heavy cab nose but can make out the stout. Cherry, dark berries, baking chocolate, cinnamon, tannins. Thin. Potent. Light on the wood finish, stout character more expressed too. Hard to think this is beer

Unfortunately not greater than the sum of its parts IMO, but still spectacular and quaffable at “only” 15%. The bourbon somehow manages to round out the tannic, rough edges making this unbelievably smooth. Seriously, it’s like drinking velvet.
