After four additional years of aging, the tart bite has simmered down quite a bit, which isn’t a bad thing. Even with all the complexity in the blend, though, I still get mostly cherry notes with hints of mild residual malt sweetness.

Massively complex, rich with caramelised wood sugars and molasses alongside sticky dried fruit, figs, & dates, sweet creamy vanilla a d coconut, finish is bourbon alongside balsamic vinegar and seriously sour citrus.

Irn Brewer is drinking an Annuel (2021) by The Bruery Terreux
La birra più acida provata fin'ora senza dubbio, complessità eccezionale: al naso ricorda una scotch ale con una punta wild, caramello e liquirizia. Al palato si sentono anche legno e frutti rossi. Ossidazione importante. Finale quasi dolce con del miele.

Intenso acido di ciliegia e frutti rossi. Retrogusto finale estremamente particolare, quasi da caffè e orzo.
