2020 edition. Was always hesitant to try beers more than 2-3 years old b/c they usually lose some of their zip. This one is a bit smoky, tastes almost like a barleywine. Interesting blend of 4 barrels. Don't get much rum but bourbon and rye are there.

This has a repulsive taste of shoe leather mixed with cigarette ash when the beer is cold. The flavor mellows as it warms but it’s just okay and drinkable.

Boozy, mellow, deceptively mild for the ABV. No crazy flavors here from either the quadrupel or the various spirits. Easy to drink . . . maybe too easy.
