2023.02.24. Sweet malts, dried figs, raisins, raw sugar, caramel, well-baked breads. Soft and complex acidity. Very woody, syrupy, and a bit boozy too.

Excellent and unique. The ponderosa needles came on strong, which I liked. Used one cup to make some cumberland sauce for a moose backstrap. Had I read the bottle before getting the meat ready I would have used some bison instead.
