Aroma of smoked meat. Dark chocolate and coffee when it warms up. Full malty body, dry and rich taste of chocolate and dark bake bread crust. Subtle roastiness and prunes which go hand in hand with smokey and ashy notes. Complex and interesting.

This isn’t going to please anyone who doesn’t go for nuance. The smoke is subtle but its presentation suits the silky, chocolatey porter it’s improving. I’m a rauch-head and will always ask for more smoke, but I’m an outlier and this is pretty great.
