This could have been so good. Just a touch of sugar would have really brought out the malts and dark fruit flavours of this beer. Someone must have slipped when adding the demerara. It’s just far too sweet, unfortunately

So apparently this fermented on its way from Leeds to Maidenhead and went from 8.5 to about 11%. I’ve had the daddy abaddon at 17% but this baby one tastes unlike anything I’ve ever drank. Unbelievable Jeff… it is so sweet, almost like if port was a beer
