Through the late 1800s, Raccoon Creek was a water route that was naturally deep enough to transport wood and farm produce to outside areas. While the creek was used for transportation, the early Swedish settlers drank beer with low ABV as a safe alternative to water. The color of our Brown Ale is reminiscent of the creek that was so vital to our area’s development.
Drawing inspiration from English-style brown ales and porters, Creek Water has roasted malt, caramel-like and chocolate-like characteristics. Its flavor sits between these two styles, but is slightly more bitter than both. Show Less
