Lighter than I expected in colour, with a rich almost peppery malt and a brackish hop finish. I can see why it has a higher rate but just not to my taste.

As is oft the case in this venue, served far too warm. Is there an open fire in the cellar here? The warmth probably took away from the true taste and texture of the beer, which was, bittery and, well grainy.

Pale.near gold colour. Slightly spicy and tart/sour aroma. Surprisingly light. Sour and tart edged off with some sweetness and with a slightly dry end. Very easy drinking. I really quite enjoy this - could have it all night.
