Goldies Promise

British Golden Ale, in many ways the lesser-known Belgian blonde's cousin. In the Belgian variety the sensation is very dependent on the classic fruity and alcoholic yeast character, which is absent in the British Golden Ale. Our Goldies Promise has a well-rounded, rich malty base which provides a suprisingly substantial body, especially taking into consideration its low ABV. The finish brings a pleasant hoppy bitterness with herbal character and notes of black currants, of course obtained through the use of classic British hop varieties.

In the grist you'll find mainly pale malts with a slight contribution of wheat and munich. Bitterness here comes from Challenger, with aroma and flavour being contributed to by Bramling Cross. Show Less
