excellent aroma of plum and caramel, yeast, barnyard wood, hard tack soaked in rum. Flavour is huge plum, yeasty wood, soft grain sourness. Light carbonation keeps it a little thin but that works in its favour. Deep, round, complex, and hugely enjoyable.

Lovely aroma. Gently tart. Plums are plenty ripe, but don’t dominate the profile. Tannic, yet not cloying. Perhaps it lacks the depth and resounding finish that could make it epic, but it’s the superb balance that makes this one a winner nonetheless.
