Emancipator

A strong, rich, and very malty lager traditionally brewed by Bavarian monks and known as "liquid bread" for its bready mouthfeel and sustaining alcohol. Brewed in the fall and cold aged for over a year, this double ("doppel" in German) bock will have a malt-derived dark fruit character, alcohol warmth, subtle caramel/bread notes, and full round body. Historically, doppelbocks have names ending in -ator as a tribute to the modern original: Salvator from Paulaner Brauerei in Munich, Germany.
