Fall Plowman's Folly

We are happy to announce the return of our Plowman's Folly in the lineup! We took our traditional French Saison recipe and decided to make it available year-round, but with 4 different seasonal varieties. Our fall version continues to highlight the light, crisp dryness that our original recipe had, but we added a touch of crystal rye and dehusked Carafa III to add some autumn flavors. Hints of black licorice come through from the rye, pairing well with the French yeast strain. We also kept Nelson Sauvin as the core hop in this beer, allowing the white wine characteristics to shine. It is complex, allows the yeast and malt to shine, and we think it will be a great style for the season. Cheers! Show Less
