Definitely overrated this 4 years ago....interesting how even tho the malt has come front and center, a lingering floral/fruitiness is still present. Kinda like a light, citrus barleywine.

Fun fact, this is a 4yo triple IPA. Can’t recall where I got this, but certainly didn’t realize what I was getting. Extremely malty, very barleywine-ish. Delicious. Sorry I’m not sharing with the likes of Mark B. or Michael P. Cheers guys 🍻

5-25-16 Sweet and piney, with distinct woody and peppery notes, rounded oakiness. Sweet, but with a balanced bitterness. I like that the balance results in no single element dominating (barrel, hops, yeast, malt), creating an enjoyable complexity.
