Medusa

Medusa was brewed for the Pink Boots Brew Day 2018. We were lucky enough to have ladies from all of the Helena breweries (Blackfoot River Brewing, Crooked Furrow Brewing, Lewis & Clark Brewing and Ten Mile Creek Brewing) help us brew for a day! Medusa is a Rye Pale Ale infused with juniper berries. The rye malt adds a spicy peppery flavor, while the juniper berries provide a subtle piney aroma. This beer was brewed with the exclusive Pink Boots Blend from YCH Hops, which includes Palisade®, Simcoe®, Mosaic®, Citra® and Loral® hops. The majority of the 16 pounds of hops were used in late additions and dry hopping, resulting in herbal, grassy and citrusy aromas, which pairs attractively with the juniper berries.
