How’d we change it this year compared to last year? Well, Rande pulled back on the malt a bit so this year it has gone to 6% ABV. Now, to hear him tell it, the flavor profile is largely unchanged except for less malt allowing the coriander to come forward. However, my own palate says this one is drier, crisper and more refreshing than in years past, and the coriander is not more present.
In either case, orange hues, rich malt flavors, spicy coriander overtones and fruity, tropical aromas make this one beautiful beer for fans of Belgian styles.
