Perfect amount of coffee& vanilla (if you like that in a beer, which I do!). Nice confusing contradiction between the aroma, flavour and full smooth body which says coffee stout, and the clear golden colour. Delicious, interesting beer. 4.5 / 5

Having this Doppelgänger again…a white stout which is just confusing! Doesn’t look like a stout, but that’s where it stops…tastes and smells like a stout. Smooth and malty, with hints of coffee! Some football on later!

I’ve had a few white stouts and this is probably the best of the lot! Purely on taste, it’s got all the characteristics of coffee, cocoa and vanilla with bourbon added for good measure! However, it looks like a golden blonde! Last beer next to the fire!
