Old Stillhouse Ale (wet-hopped with Harkin's Hops)

Meet Old Stillhouse Ale, our first wet-hopped beer brewed with Harkins Hops 2019 harvest. This is a SMaSH (single-malt, single-hop) recipe using Maris malt and Harkins Hops that really lets the hops shine through in this session ale. A wet-hopped beer is made with whole-cone, un-kilned (not dried) hops that come straight from the farm. Hops are harvested once a year making this beer a special seasonal treat. When hops are fresh from the field, there is nothing quite like them. Harkins Hops is based in Rixeyville, VA and you can find them on Old Stillhouse Road. Show Less
