Dry as promised, but quite refreshing for a stout. Still tasty, but maybe a little too savoury?

Solid. DDH Simcoe comes through. More bitter than the pastry stouts but this is solid nonetheless.

Tasty oatmealy flavour with the Simcoe. Why haven't I had this combo before

Hoppy, thin, and malty with a hint of coffee. Dominated by the dry hop flavour, not so much to it in comparison to other stouts.

July 18. 440ml can. Pours black, medium tan head. Strong roast, pine needle, bitter dark chocolate and simcoe hop on the nose. Taste presents similar layers, good layered grainy dark malts, chocolate, coffee grain, some nice hop flourishes, drying close.
