Sweet plum and prune, dark candied malt. Dark and malty, light oxidation, toast, fruit. Lingering bitterness, gentle roast. Held up nicely.

Missed check-in from 1/24/21. Sweet malt early, roasty late & in the aftertaste. Loads of Belgian yeast flavors: more banana early, more clove late. Minimally hoppy, mostly noble hops which add mild aroma. Lighter body, despite dark color. Complex. Tasty!

Held onto this since 2017 and it was worth the wait. Belgiany banana yeast aromas & flavors early. Noble hop aromas. Complex malt profile: modest sweetness early, slightly caramels, with roasty notes that pop late/in the aftertaste. Slight clove finish.

You know you have too much beer when you find hidden beer in the cellar. I had forgotten that I bought this case of beer cans but I love Ayinger and I thought this was a very good representation of the style. Sweet wheat maltiness.
