We teamed up with our friend Kevin Vincent from @newfoundsushiizakaya for a very creative and unique collaboration.
After coming up with the concept, Kevin joined us for a fun day at the brewery.
We began by 3-stage gelatinizing Newfound Sushi’s Japanese Rice under Kevin’s skillful eye.
Our common goal was to craft a beer that would pair with the proteins of fresh sushi and specifically Newfoundland seafood. This collaboration was fun, technical and challenging.
The result is a super crisp hybrid rice ale, which blurs several style guidelines, but sits at home in the Session IPA category.
Loaded with late Mosaic and Sorachi Ace hops then dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe, this smooth session IPA is super crush Show Less
