Just stellar. Toffee, licorice, subtle bitter chocolate, some booze that isn't overwhelming but gives a nice warming character. And not too sweet or cloying.

Fun to try…. But definitely not for me! I did the blind tasting again which was especially fun for this one as I don’t think I’ve ever had barley wine before. Tasted a little like a stout at first and then has a really strong bourbon edged wine taste
