Nose is toffee, cocoa, grain, liquorice, molasses, and feed mill. Soy, molasses, chocolate in the front. Viscous on the mouth. This may be beyond its “best before” but it’s not all the way off. I’d try others.

This bottle was opened 4.5years and is as good as I remembered. Big dark fruit characters and at 31% the sweetness hides the abv well.
