Scarlet Hibiscus Pale Ale

The inspiration for this collaboration comes from the west coast of Africa in the region that transitions between Saharan and sub- Saharan, and source of the now world famous Roselle variety of Hibiscus. The result is a delectably hoppy and deliciously fruity take on the popular tea known in Senegal as “Bissap” (aka sobolo or zobo). Known by many different names throughout the world, Bissap tea is recognized by its lush red color. Stone Berlin Brewmaster Thomas Tyrell and our friends from Italy’s Birrificio Lambrate were inspired to develop the recipe when offered the sweet tea after a long night out in Milan. Brewed with Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria and Citra hops, and Roselle, the Lambrate / Stone Scarlet Hibiscus Pale Ale is a uniquely refreshing pale ale no matter where in the world you are. Show Less
