This has aged with poise. Coconut upfront in the nose and initial sweetness giving way to prickly bourbon heat and warm chai finish. Revisited over a few hours is rewarding. 1st heavy stout this winter.

16.9oz bottle. If you like chai spices, you’ll like this! They were a bit heavy for my tastes (cut back 1/3 this would’ve been better balanced, allowing the endemic chocolate & adjuncted coconut flavors to shine a bit more). Bourbon accented the spices.
