Aroma is full of bourbon barrels, brown sugar, molasses, and caramel. Flavour has burnt brown sugars, caramel malt, molasses, and complex, deep bourbon barrels. Rich, complex, balanced; not too sweet despite all the sugars. Exceptional.

Dark brown. No head. Nice barrel, whisky, sugars, dark fruits and a bit of vanilla. Soft, has some bitterness, alcohol makes the fruitiness a bit harsh. Good body. Warm finish, again with some dried dark fruits.

Mijn (laatste) gedachten over dit (bier)jaar. Veel verschillende stylen geprobeerd. Conclusie Double IPA en BA Barley Wines favoriet. Bierfestivals vaker bezoeken en heel veel lol gehad met iedereen waarmee ik bier samen gedronken heb op tasting. Thx 🙏

Rich dark chocolate covered raisins and you can taste the bourbon barrel influence. Phenomenal.
