When cold it tastes pretty good, like a sweet Belgian dark strong. Red and dark fruits, molasses, caramel. Finish is rich caramel.

Okay, so these have proven to be over carbed. Math on priming checks out, not sure what happened. Thinking it picked up an infection in sec.
Jason Fuller: Nose is raisin, caramelized sugar. Taste is quite Belgian dark strong like - lively body, dark sugars, dark fruit and caramel.
Jason Fuller: After i let it sit for 15 min, it really wasn't bad but just not what it's supposed to be.

Real nice already. Nose is toffee and bread, slight anise; taste is lots of caramel/toffee with maple, vanilla, and rum notes. Slight fruit.

Nose: molasses, Brandy, slight burnt sugar. Lovely. Taste: more of the same - very good but thin. Let's see how this ages

3 weeks in. Just transferred to secondary. 1.029 from 1.101. Nose is Apple Brandy, honey, slight raisin. Taste is caramel/toffee, Brandy.
Jason Fuller: I'm floored by how nice this is this young. Sweet but balanced. Some heat but not too boozy.
Malt flavours are more fruity and less toffee than ought to be. Enjoyable though, ABV is well hidden and balance is good
