Prosjekt Prydeple 2

Crafted from a bold blend of Crab apples, Idunn, Eir and Nanna apples, this year's edition features a notably higher proportion of crab apples—including the intense Royalty and the aromatic Dolgo—compared to previous vintages. The result is a cider with a truly distinctive character: rich in tannins, lightly sweet with a touch of residual sugar, and sharpened by a vivid, almost eccentric acidity. This is not a cider for the indecisive—you’ll either love it or not at all.

Far from being just a drink, this cider is a powerful ingredient in the kitchen. It shines in dishes like poulet au cidre, porc et palourdes au cidre, or côtelettes de porc au cidre, where its complex profile enhances the depth of flavor and adds unexpected brilliance.

A limited, experimental release, this cider breaks with convention through its crab apple-forward composition, rarely seen in modern Norwegian cider-making. Fermented with champagne yeast, crossflow filtered, and meticulously cellared, it offers a bold, memorable tasting experience for those seeking something off the beaten path. Show Less
