Barrel Aged Island Street Porter Bourbon

We have aged our award-winning Island Street Porter in a Heaven Hill Bourbon barrel for six months to create a beer with the same characteristic undertones of chocolate and dark cherry but with a far greater depth and complexity of flavour. Our Heaven Hill Bourbon barrel aged porter has a distinctive vanilla character from the oak that adds a rich creamy note, reminiscent of clotted cream. This smooth silky mouthfeel gives way to a gentle smokey character and a refreshing dry finish.

Its 'Sister Beer' was aged in a Speyside Whisky Barrel and was the National Gold Winner at the 2020 SIBA Awards (Speciality Mid to Dark Beers) Show Less
